Welcome to the Forest Connection website and service platform.
Forest Connection offers guided forest therapy experiences led by certified Forest Therapy Guides. These services are based on international best practices, including the International Core Curriculum for Forest Therapy.
By accessing or using Forest Connection’s website, booking any service, or participating in any event or session, you acknowledge your understanding and agreement with the Terms and Conditions described below. If you do not agree to these terms, we advise that you refrain from using our services.
1. Services
1.1 Forest Connection facilitates guided forest therapy walks and nature immersions as outlined in the internationally accepted standards of forest therapy.
1.2 Activities may include light physical movement, creative and sensory engagement, periods of silence, and optional group sharing.
1.3 Services are often delivered in a group context. Participants are expected to respect group dynamics and adapt individual participation to maintain the tranquil environment.
1.4 Participants are expected to limit speech and activity when requested to promote the group’s quiet enjoyment.
2. Booking
2.1 All bookings confirmed via our website, email, or text message are subject to these Terms & Conditions.
3. Inclusions
3.1 Specific inclusions are detailed on individual service descriptions, event flyers, or related materials.
4. Acceptance
4.1 Bookings are valid once Forest Connection has received both the required payment and a completed registration form, followed by a confirmation email or message.
4.2 Group bookings must be made by an authorized individual acting on behalf of the group.
4.3 Forest Connection reserves the right to decline bookings based on health, safety, or other relevant considerations.
5. Changes to Services
5.1 Forest Connection may change the timing, structure, or location of sessions due to weather conditions, site access, or other unforeseen circumstances to ensure participant safety and service quality.
6. Cancellation & Amendment Policy
6.1 Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled event incur a 100% cancellation fee.
6.2 Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to forestconnection2025@gmail.com or text to 0420527705.
6.3 Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable.
6.4 Requests for rescheduling are subject to availability and potential fee adjustments.
6.5 Forest Connection reserves the right to modify the cancellation policy and will communicate any changes clearly on its website and at the time of booking.
7. Forest Therapy Guides
7.1 Our certified guides are trained to ensure safe, inclusive, and meaningful experiences. They hold full authority over the conduct and structure of each session.
7.2 Participants must follow all guide instructions during activities.
8. Participant Responsibilities
8.1 It is your responsibility to choose an experience suitable to your physical condition and to disclose relevant health or mobility concerns prior to the event.
8.2 You are responsible for bringing adequate water, appropriate attire, and any personal necessities.
8.3 By participating, you agree to behave respectfully and indemnify Forest Connection against liabilities arising from misconduct.
9. Assumption of Risk
9.1 Participation involves natural risks such as variable terrain, weather exposure, and limited medical access.
9.2 You voluntarily assume these risks and understand that they contribute to the unique benefits of forest therapy.
10. Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability
10.1 Forest therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment.
10.2 You agree to release Forest Connection from all liability except in cases of proven gross negligence.
10.3 You assume full responsibility for personal safety, and in case of dispute, agree to resolve matters under NSW jurisdiction.
11. Insurance
11.1 Forest Connection strongly recommends that participants have insurance for medical emergencies, cancellations, and related risks.
12. Payments
12.1 Payments must be made in Australian dollars (AUD) unless specified otherwise.
13. Complaints
13.1 Immediate concerns should be raised with your guide for on-the-spot resolution.
13.2 Unresolved issues can be addressed via forestconnection2025@gmail.com or 0420527705
13.3 NDIS participants may escalate concerns to relevant authorities as listed on the NDIS website.
14. Jurisdiction
14.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of NSW.
15. Termination
15.1 Forest Connection reserves the right to cancel or refuse service at its discretion.
16. Website Disclaimer
16.1 Website information is presented in good faith, but no guarantees are made regarding completeness or current accuracy.
16.2 Forest Connection is not liable for damages related to website use.
17. Amendments
17.1 Terms & Conditions may be updated to reflect legal or service changes. Participants will be notified of material amendments.
